Delivery and returns

Draft — not reviewed by a solicitor
This page is written in plain English as a working draft while the site is being built. It has not been checked by a lawyer and it is not legal advice. It will be reviewed before anything can be bought here.
You buy from the shop, not from us. The shop is the seller and your contract for the goods is with them. We run the website, the checkout and the delivery arrangement, and we will help sort out anything that goes wrong.
Collection
Collection is always free. The shop will have your order ready within the preparation time shown on its page — usually under two hours in opening hours. Bring the order confirmation. Orders are held for 7 days; after that the shop may put the items back on the shelf and refund you.
Same-day local delivery
Each shop chooses which Cardiff outward codes it delivers to (CF3, CF5, CF10, CF11, CF14, CF15, CF23, CF24), the flat fee it charges, any free-delivery threshold and any minimum order. The exact fee for your postcode is shown before you pay, and never changes afterwards.
- Orders placed during opening hours are normally delivered the same day; later orders go the next opening day.
- Deliveries are made to the door. If nobody is in, the driver will follow the instructions you left, or bring it back to the shop for collection.
- Delivery fees are charged on top of the price of the goods.
Post
Some shops post some items anywhere in the UK. Where that's offered it's shown on the listing, with the postage cost, before you pay.
Your right to cancel — 14 days
If your order was delivered or posted to you, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason, and a further 14 days to send them back. We refund what you paid, including the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of getting the goods back.
The cost of returning the goods is yours unless they were faulty or not as described.
When the 14-day right does not apply
- Perishable goods — anything that goes off.
- Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.
- Sealed goods that aren't suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.
- Sealed audio or video recordings and sealed software, once unsealed.
- Newspapers and magazines.
The right to cancel covers goods bought at a distance. Items you collect in the shop are treated as bought in the shop, so the 14-day right doesn't apply to them — but every shop on the site will still take something back within 14 days if it's unused and as sold. Ask them.
Last Call items are sold as described, flaw included
Last Call items are seconds, ex-display, end-of-line, damaged-packaging or overstock goods. The listing says exactly what is wrong with the item, and the price reflects it. A defect that was described in the listing is not a fault, and you can't return the item because of it.
Everything else still stands:
- If a Last Call item was delivered to you, the 14-day right to cancel applies as normal.
- If it has a defect that was not described, it's faulty and your rights below apply in full.
- The crossed-out price on a Last Call item is always a genuine price the shop charged, and is always higher than what you pay.
Faulty, damaged or not as described
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they're not:
- within 30 days, you can reject them for a full refund;
- after 30 days and within 6 months, the shop gets one chance to repair or replace, then you can have a refund;
- up to 6 years, you may still have a claim.
Tell us or the shop and we'll sort it out. You don't pay to return faulty goods.
If something doesn't arrive
Tell us the same day if you can. We'll find out what happened with the shop and the driver and either get it to you or refund you in full, including the delivery fee.
Cancelling before it's sent
If you cancel before the shop has packed your order, you get everything back including delivery. Contact the shop through the site.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights. See also the site terms.
